摘要
This paper treats about the laminar boundary layer flow induced in a quiescent fluid by a permeable stretched flat surface with velocity u(w)(x) = ax + cx(2) under the influence of a magnetic field. With the help of an analytical solution for this flow, the set of continuity and momentum equations has been reduced to a single non-linear ordinary differential equation, which is solved numerically using the fourth order Runge-Kutta method in combination with a shooting procedure. It is shown that the problem permits a complete solution for a particular case without magnetic field influences. The numerical results for the velocity field are presented through tables and graphs and discussed.
