A new settled population of the lessepsian migrant Siganus luridus (Pisces: Siganidae) in Linosa Island -: Sicily Strait

摘要：
The lessepsian migrant Siganus luridus appeared along the shallower waters of the Pelagic Islands (central Mediterranean Sea). This is a new record of the species based on the capture of 40 specimens in Linosa Island during the summer of 2003. Some biological data are given and the relevance of this finding from the Sicily Strait is discussed.
