DYNAMICS OF PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY IN THE PUBLICATIONS OF "PSYCHOLOGICAL JOURNAL"

The paper offers an analysis of publications on the problems of developmental psychology for the period 2000-2017. In theoretical, empirical and methodical works, changes in the psychology of development are clearly manifested. This is an extension of the field of developmental psychology: the emergence of new areas (prenatal psychology, gerontopsychology, akmeology), the revision of established concepts (giftedness, individual mental resources, the structure of consciousness, its genesis, executive functions). The current state of developmental psychology, the system of its principles, multi-determinism of development, subjectivity and self-development are presented. New concepts have been developed - Theory of Mind, behavior control, resilience. There was a significant deeper understanding of mental development, depending on the child's individuality, family upbringing, father's role, institutionalization conditions, and affection. A new understanding of the conditions for the development of speech, and its connection with reading skills, development of mathematical abilities is demonstrated. The problem of regulation and self-regulation of mental development has received a serious empirical development in the direction of their systemic and integrative analysis. The focus of research has shifted to internal resources, which determine the development of self-regulation in human ontogenesis. The general characteristic of the work of the period under consideration should be considered the transition from the search for universal laws to the study of their individual representation and intensity, the uniqueness of mental development, self-development and self-determination. At the same time, the development of a person as a subject with his maximum uniqueness and individuality becomes just the guide that sets the coordinates and future of developmental psychology.
