摘要
We report a case of fulminant hepatitis related to a primary Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection in an immunocompetent 15-year-old male patient. The main causes of fulminant hepatitis are viral infections, drugs, and autoimmune diseases. Primary Epstein-Barr virus infection is usually a benign, self-limited disease in pediatrics but can exceptionally be fatal. (C) 2006 Elsevier SAS. All rights reserved.
