摘要：
This edition of the Australian Meteorological Magazine includes several of the papers that were originally presented at a conference on the health consequences of ozone depletion held in Hobart in September 1996. I congratulate the editors on this initiative and thank them for the imitation to prepare this foreword which describes the role of the Menzies Foundation in this field.
