Today reliability testing represents an important field in a products development cycle. This paper presents the importance of implementation of accelerated life testing (ALT) in a products life cycle, but also the major advantages yielded by it. The case stud), introduced the concept of accelerated life testing in aviation by testing 12 helicopter blades. The statistical analysis and data testing plan were realized using the ALTA 7 software.
