Energy spectra and angular distribution of bremsstrahlung emitted from a thick tungsten target by 11.8 MeV electrons

摘要
The energy spectrum and the angular distribution of bremsstrahlung emitted from a thick tungsten target with accelerated electron energy 11.8 MeV were studied. The unfolding of the angular distribution of the electron bremsstrahlung was observed as a function of energy with energy step 0.5 MeV. An irregularity in the variation of the γ-ray energy with increasing scattering angle was shown. It was suggested that the yield and average cross section of photonuclear reactions and the computed exposure and absorbed dose in the irradiated objects in electron bremsstrahlung can be find by the obtained data.
