摘要
In addition to surgery, ablative and transarterial therapies are widely accepted treatment options for hepatocellular carcinoma. Although post-treatment follow-up is usually done with both computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), MRI is found to be superior in detecting residual or recurrent tumors after treatment. Familiarity with post-treatment MRI findings is critical for the correct interpretation of these examinations, and for guiding further therapies.
