摘要
In this work, optimization of multiple responses (SR, kerf, MRR) is carried out using desirability function analysis (DFA) with weights optimized by analytical hierarchy process (AHP) in WEDM of Inconel 825. Process parameters T-on, T-off, I-p and SV are varied as per Box-Behnken L-27 orthogonal array. At the optimum setting T-on : 112 mu s, T-off :48 mu s, I-p: 200A and SV: 25V, SR, kerf and MMR improved by 3.73%, 1.22% and 4.46% respectively. Toff has significant effect on composite desirability (CD) followed by SV, T-on and I-p. CD improved by 1.48% with optimized weights as compared to equal weights. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd.
