摘要
Transportation sector in Taiwan accounts for 6% of the energy consumption and 23% of CO2 emission in 1997. According to national reduction targets, allocation of the reduction targets to Transportation sector were 3,200 thousand KL and 5,450 thousand KL of equivalent oil consumption, 7,400 thousand tons and 12,600 thousand tons of CO, emission by 2010 and 2020 respectively. There were 30 practical transportation measures screened for the basic scenario in this study. The results indicated that more than 90% of contribution for energy saving and CO2 reduction was due to the enhancement of transport efficiency and the improvement of fuel economy measures. But it still depends on what the goals set for related measures. In comparison with different scenarios, for energy saving, the expected value was about 59-130% of 3,160 thousand KL of equivalent oil, and for CO2 reduction, the expected value was about 56-125% of 7,630 thousand tons of CO2 emission based on basic scenario in 2010.
