摘要
Topological photonic systems provide a novel platform for controlling the flow of light. Recently, valley photonic crystals have been favored for their friendly of implement. Here, we demonstrate the chiral-selective terahertz transmission in a valley photonic crystal comprised of dielectric rods. The unidirectional propagation of chiral edge states indicated by the slope of energy band dispersion is numerically observed. The proposed regime has potential in multi-functional photonic broadband communication and other on-chip applications in the terahertz region, particularly for 6G communications.
