SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON THE APPLICATION OF LABOR LAW. MACHALA, ECUADOR

With the objective of characterizing the Labor Law application process, in the context of the city of Machala, a descriptive research with quantitative-qualitative approach was carried out during the first semester of 2018. The methodological strategy was systematized by means of methods of general research: historical-logical, documentary review, analytical-synthetic and statistical. For the collection of information, a survey was applied to 100 workers and 40 legal professionals. The results obtained reveal asymmetry between the theoretical discourse and the application of Labor Law, evidenced by the existence of a legal framework standardized by the Constitution of the Republic and the Labor Code and, on the other hand, shortcomings in labor relations between employers and workers.
