摘要:
This paper analyzed the method of using FCL to enhance FRT capacity of FSWT and compared the performance of resistive-type fault current Iimiters (RFCL) and reactor-type fault current Iimiters (LFCL) of different limiting impedance. The minimum required value of the impedance for maintaining stable operation of FSWT during fault is determined, as well as dynamic stable speed and critical clearing time (CCT). The method has been validated by transient studies in a simple system by PSCADIEMTDC. Simulation results demonstrate that the enhancement of FRT is related highly with the limiting impedance of FCL. The RFCL has the advantage of choosing limiting impedance and transient oscillate, while the LFCL with minimum required impedance has a better performance on the enhancement of FRT.
