摘要
We proposed a preoperative planning system for safer liver surgeries. With image analysis functions including serial liver CT image segmentation and vessel extraction, the system obtains a three-dimensional interactive liver model for further diagnosis. And based on the hepatic blood flow distribution calculations and prospective volumetric assessment, the system can process real-time liver resection simulation. The results of clinical trials indicate the system has strong performance and provides useful basis for liver resection preoperative planning.
