摘要
The goals of the Storage and Delivery System (SDS) of the ITER Tritium Fuel Processing Plant are 1) safe storage of tritium-deuterium (DT) mixtures in reservoirs and in metal tritide beds with in-bed accountancy, 2) supply of various DT mixtures with DT and T2 flow rates up to 200 and 100 Pam(30)s(-1) and of pure gases (He, Ne, Ar, N-2, H-2, D-2 and He+O-2), 3) collection of the tritium decay product 3 He, 4) provision of a long term storage capacity for 1 kg tritium and 5) specification of an accountancy system for the tritium delivered to the ITER site. These tasks are described by means of the flow diagram for SDS. In addition, important aspects such as the minimisation of the total tritium inventory, the reprocessing/reinjection of DT mixtures during long plasma shots, the necessary safety measures, a description of the ZrCo storage beds and the control loops are given.
