An investigation on school counselor candidates' democratic tendencies

This research is desivted to examine the school counselor candidates' democratic tendencies in terms of several variables. The study group of the research consists of the whole under7A4duate students attending Atatiirk University K. K. Faculty of Education Guidance and Counseling Department 2011-2012 academic year in the fall semester. As a result of this research in which survey method is used, it was determined that the teacher candidates stated positive views for democratic tendencies, according to the gender variance in the freedom of expression dimension, the democratic tendencies of men are higher than women and the more grade level increase, the more the average of democratic tendencies increase.
