Analysis of effective width of simply supported composite slim floor

摘要
By the application of Steel-Concrete composite slim floor,the structural height can be reduced significantly and the capability of fire resistance of the steel beam can be intensified in large-bay buildings. Effective width is adopted in design to overcome the difficulty owing to shear lag phenomenon in concrete flange of composite beam under vertical loads. Based on the former research and development on composite slim floor,many achievements in the effective width of T-shape composite beam are made. But because of the lack of constructing experiences and experimentations, the effective width of composite slim floor is not defined in all the current codes. In this paper,a model of frame system with composite slim floor in typical dimension is established in the large common finite element software ANSYS. By the analyses of the finite element model applied to uniformly distribute load,the effective width of composite slim floor is investigated by finite element method.
