摘要
A bitsteam extraction method for SVC based on Spatio-Temporal saliency map is presented in this paper. Mathematic models are introduced to describe the tasks in mechanism of Human Visual System (HVS), such as extraction of salient areas and shift of attention focus, which result in a Spatio-Temporal saliency map. According to this map a rate allocation method based on greedy algorithm for enhancement layers is proposed to extract substream, and the algorithm is optimized according to the characteristics of HVS. Experiments show that the proposed method can simulate the characteristics of HVS, and assure subjective visual quality when the bandwidth is limited.
