Relations between surface energy and surface potentials of a nitrogen plasma-modified polypropylene

摘要
This study demonstrates the plasma effect on the surface properties: the fixation of polar groups such as amines, leading to an increase of surface energy and surface potential. The surface effect is maximum for a critical value of 1.7 sites/nm2 of amino groups.
