摘要
The influence of bond in modelling reinforced concrete beams with low tensile ratio is discussed in this paper. Two distinct numerical models were applied: 'embedded reinforcement' and 'bond interface'. The recent knowledge on bond-slip modelling was applied in the second model, through the development of an interface between concrete and steel. An experimental campaign was also carried out to validate the results obtained from the numerical models. The results indicate that the embedded reinforcement models can be satisfactory for predicting the failure deflection.
