An Empirical Study on The Two Kinds of Forms of The Logistics Network

The networking of Logistics is a necessary developing trend of modern Logistics industry. Based on the Logistics Network Theory, this paper defines two kinds of the forms of the logistics network, operation form and structure form, and makes a study of the mechanism of action of the three Logistics Sub-networks, including Logistics Infrastructure Network, the Logistics Information Network and the Logistics Organization Network. Studying the Mechanism of Action of three Logistics Sub-networks will help us to realize the logistics networking and the resource sharing. This paper uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) to validating the hypotheses of two kinds of patterns forms based on the result of 245 pieces of questionnaires, and then it analyses the two kinds of forms of the Logistics Networks. Finally it gives the conclusion: In the operation form of the logistics network, the logistics information network plays a leading role. It makes an effect on the logistics infrastructure network through the logistics organization network; in the structure form of the logistics network, the construction of cooperation system between logistics organizations has a influence on the transparence of the Logistics Information Network; the logistics network is dynamic stable. It is under the cycle process of "operation - construction - operation". The degree of logistics networking will be improving, and the resource sharing and the resource integration will be realized.
