On African Epilachnini-A Revision of the Genus Tropha Weise (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)

Species of the Afrotropical genus Tropha Weise are revised, diagnosed, and illustrated. Solanophila vigintiduoguttata Weise, 1915, is removed from synonymy with Tropha variabilis Weise, 1900, and its status as a valid species of Tropha (Tropha vigintiduoguttata) is confirmed. Tropha obscura (Korschefsky 1929) is synonymized with T. variabilis Weise, 1900, syn. nov. A neotype of S. vigintiduoguttata Weise, 1915, is designated. A new species Tropha zambiensis sp. nov. is described. A key to the species of Tropha is presented.
