摘要
Between the years 45 and 58, St. Paul preached intensively throughout the Aegean Sea basin and the Anatolian peninsula achieving a rapid and widespread diffusion of Christianity. This was possible, among other things, due to a deep cultural transformation promoted by the first Roman Emperors throughout the Mediterranean regions; namely, the creation of a Roman ecumene that would facilitate the unrestricted circulation and promotion of people and ideas to the far ends of the empire.
