Fabrication process of flexible phosphorescent OLED by ink-jet printing method

摘要
We have achieved a 100 ppi flexible OLED driven by oxide TFT using a PEN film substrate for a 8"VGA display panel. An IGZO-TFT backplane was formed by photolithography and an etching process. The maximum processing temperature of the IGZO-TFT backplane was 130 degrees C. The fabricated TFT showed a field-effect mobility of 3.6 cm(2)/Vs. Phosphorescent OLED layers were formed by ink-jet printing. A uniform film more than 90% flat area was obtained by using our phosphorescent polymer. The effect was investigated of the bank structure on the device performance, which was constructed for keeping the ink jet droplets into each pixel. Also, we evaluated solvents determining ink-jettability and emission efficiency.
