The charismatic catholicism in the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff

This article analyzes the role of the deputies of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the impeachment process of Dilma Rousseff. The intention is to show the forms of the engagements and the justifications used by deputies. To do so, let us situate their positions within the context in which they operate and understand the models of engagement in public arenas. With this we hope to contribute to the debate on the place of religious denominations in the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff, as well as on the debate on the public presence of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
