摘要
Automobiles are a necessity in every aspect of our life, regardless the use of it: personal, transportation of people, transportation of goods, agriculture, constructions, etc. When we purchase an automobile, we consider aspects of design, performance, scope of use, etc. In order to have the guaranty that these parameters are met, they need to be tested and validated by the producer. Validation is a stage in which the validity of a product is proven. This stage is part of the reliability testing process, a necessary process to ensure the quality of the manufactured components. During a lifetime of use, the components must withstand numerous disturbing or damaging factors. Some of these factors have a mechanical origin and can affect the functionality of the component. Some of these mechanical factors are vibrations that can be divided into 2 categories: periodic vibrations (sinusoidal vibrations) and nonperiodic vibrations (random vibrations) and mechanical shocks of different shapes (half-sine, initial/terminal peak, triangular, rectangular, etc.).
