摘要
The mosquito fauna has been followed up near the Humpolec city (westernmost part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands) since 1985. Two methods - the larvae collection (by a wire strainer) and sweeping of newly hatched adults around breeding places - were added with the female mosquito EVS trapping with CO2 as the attractant in the 2015 and 2016 summer periods. Altogether 22 mosquito species were recorded over the study period (see above). The most characteristic species of the area were Aedes communis and Ae. cantans (breeding in coniferous forest pools, and Anopheles claviger and Culiseta glaphyroptera, breeding mostly in water springs and other cool waters. The sibling species Culex pipiens and Cx. torrentium sometimes occurred massively, with the latter prevailing in most of the breeding sites. The formerly very scarce species, Ae. geniculatus and An. plumbeus, exclusively breeding in tree holes filled with rain water, became very abundant in "new biotopes" of discarded used tires. Culex spp. females dominated in most of the CO2 trap catches. No invasive mosquito species has been recorded yet.
