摘要
This research was conducted, in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 second crop growing seasons, at farmer land in Tekirdag province, Malkara district Ibribey village. Silage maize varieties which belongs to different FAO groups and ripes early (Calcio, Colonia, DK-743, Mas 74G, Pasha) used as seed material and were planned in randomized block and factorial design with three replications. Result of the research indicated that the highest yield was obtained from Calcio corn cultivar with 7753.89 kg / da. The highest plant fresh (1082.75 g) and dry weight (700.93 g), and hay yield were determined in Calcio cultivar. The highest varieties with the characters that positively affect maize hay yield were Colonia with 257.10 cm in plant height, DK- 743 with 67.24 cm in leaf height, MAS 74G with 158.55 g of leaf fresh weight, 417.78 g in corncob fresh weight, 1082.75 g in plant fresh weight, Colonia with corncob length (30.50 cm), corncob dry weight (310.48 g/plant) and corncob diameter (6.11 cm). As a result of this research; apart from stem diameter and number of leaves, there was a positive relationship between all characters and hay yield; among the characters discussed, there was a positive and significant 0.01 correlation between corncob wet weight, plant fresh weight, leaf fresh weight, leaf height, corncob height, corncob dry weight, corncob diameter and hay yield. In the this two-year study, priority in silage production was to obtain high yield. Overall, it can be concluded that Calcio variety sustained a yield potential over other varieties and could contribute positively to the production of quality roughage needed by growing in regional conditions.
