摘要
In this paper a fully coupled thermal-structural finite element analysis of a solid de formable body utilizing an improved weak form of the conservation of energy with convective heat transfer is presented. In the analysis the updated Lagrangian formulation for fmite strains, the Von Mises material model, the Kelvin - Voigt model for internal damping and the Jaumann's objective rate in the form of the Green - Naghdi objective rate in the stress update calculation were used. Free vibration and plastic bending of a cantilever beam were studied using various internal damping values which were compared with identical analyses employing the Rayleigh damping model. The numerical results are briefly discussed.
