摘要
Silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) are prepared by using coprecipitation method using silver nitrate solution and trisodium citrate (C6H5Na3O7 center dot 2H(2)O). The nanoparticles are characterized by UV-VIS spectrophotometry, FTIR Spectrometry, Particle Size Analyzer and Zeta Potential. The peak intensity at 405 nm in UV-VIS Spectra is enhanced, indicating the reduction of large amount of silver ions to the metallic silver nanoparticles in Sodium Citrate (SC). The Ag-NPs are found to be of similar to 5.5 nm size and having a Zeta Potential of be -44.6 mV with an electrophoretic mobility of -0.000346 cm(2)/Vs. Ag-NPs prepared in this study are highly stable, mobile and can used in cancer treatments such as brain tumor and breast cancer. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
