Temperature dependence of pure spin current and spin-mixing conductance in the ferromagnetic-normal metal structure

Temperature evolution of pure spin current has been studied in an epitaxial thin-film bilayer La2/3Sr1/3MnO3/Pt deposited on a NdGaO3 substrate. The spin current was generated by microwave pumping under conditions of ferromagnetic resonance in the ferromagnetic La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 layer and detected in the Pt layer due to the inverse spin Hall effect. A considerable increase in the spin current magnitude has been observed upon cooling from the Curie point (350K) down to 100K. Using the obtained data, the temperature evolution of the mixed spin conductance g(mix)(T) has been extracted. It was found that the g(mix)(T) dependence correlates with magnetization in a thin area adjacent to the ferromagnetic-normal metal interface.
