Magnetic properties near the non-Fermi-liquid regime in the antiferromagnetic heavy-fermion compound YbAgGe

摘要
Measurements of the magnetoresistance down to 75 mK give indications for the evolution of the magnetic ground state of YbAgGe from antiferromagnetic order at zero field to a field polarised state at high fields. In particular, the feature at 5 T closest to the field range, where non-Fermi-liquid behaviour had been previously observed, is associated with an increase of the field-induced ferromagnetic component.
