The traditional Fourier analysis can extract the envelope from amplitude modulated signals, but it does not work with non-stationary signal. A new method based on Hilbert Transform is presented to extract the envelope from non-stationary amplitude modulated signal in the multiplicative composition where the non stationary signal can be separated into the non-stationary slowly-varying component and fast component. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the efficiency of the presented method.
