摘要：

The theory, simulation, and experimental verification about a new fractional-N frequency synthesizer using delta-sigma frequency discriminator are reported. The new synthesizer not only has good performance, but also is suitable for integration. A unique feature also makes it especially useful for phase-array antenna and smart antenna applications.
