Electrical conductivity of polyaniline with sulfuric acid doping

摘要
Electrical conductivities of polyanilines doped with sulfuric acid have been studied for thermal aging in the range of 50 similar to 210 degrees C. A first decrease in the conductivity has been found at a lower aging temperature up to 90 degrees C, where the removal of moisture and the reduction of structural order between polymer chains takes place. The second step of conductivity decrease was found at a temperature higher than 190 degrees C. Thermally induced removal of sulfuric acid, and/ or some kinds of chemical reactions should break the formed polaron band and suppress the conductivity.
