Some physical chemical aspects of Pb3MgNb2O9 single crystal growth

摘要
Physical chemical grounds of PMN single crystal growth by modified Czochralsky method are discussed. Cooled melts of PMN ceramics prepared by different methods and containing various amounts of cubic-type pyrochlore phase were studied by X-ray diffraction and differential thermal analysis. The weight ratio of the components in the melt was determined. It was found that the phase relations between perovskite and pyrochlore phases in the melts are approximately the same for various initial ceramic compositions.
