摘要
With the development of times, the requirement for talents is increasingly demanding. Especially for the students majoring in physical education (PE) at colleges and universities, it is not only required to master PE knowledge related to track and field, but also to conduct independent and innovative inquiry learning activities so that students can apply what they learn comprehensively to reasoning and explore so as to develop students' language expression ability, creative ability, association ability and insight etc. Therefore, during the reformation of PE teaching at colleges and universities, put forward inquiry teaching method so as to realize the above teaching objectives. This paper mainly aims at discussing strategies related to application of inquiry teaching method in track-and-field teaching in PE major at colleges and universities.
