摘要：

Today, with the rapid development of the tourism industry, studying application of GIS (Geographic Information System) in the tourism industry is of great importance and broad significance undoubtedly for the development of the tourism industry. This article summarized the feature of the GIS and the main advantage of TGIS (Tourism Geographic Information System) based on studying emergence and development of GIS and described the main application of GIS in Henan tourism industry.
