Quantization of the conductance of a three-dimensional quantum wire in the presence of a magnetic field

摘要
We study the ballistic transport in a three-dimensional quantum wire subjected to a uniform magnetic field of an arbitrary direction. The case of an elliptic cross section of the win is considered. The temperature smearing of conductance quantization of the wire is analyzed.
