Isotope effect in dissociative electron attachment to H2 at 4 eV

摘要
We report dissociative electron attachment cross sections for H-2 and D-2 at 4 eV and 14 eV resonances. The efficient signal-background separation, that has been enabled by utilizing time-and-position sensitive delay-line detector, reveals the isotope effect that is much stronger than previously believed.
