摘要
Low cost miniaturized efficient ultra- wideband (UWB) antenna dedicated to a non- invasive technique for early breast cancer detection is studied mathematically, designed, simulated, fabricated and tested. The new design is composed of a small sized square patch (26 mm x 20 mm), with three rectangular slots and a reduced ground- plane which has a T- shaped slot, fed by a 50 Omega microstrip transmission line. Also, a comparative study has been made with some recent works to prove the potential of this structure. The frequency bandwidth of this antenna is 13.27GHz. In this range of operation, such a device is suited for various Ultra wideband applications. (C) 2016 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
