摘要：

The article is devoted to the problems of system safety for virtual private networks. To solve these problems, mathematical models of a distributed authentication system for a virtual private reconfigurable network are developed. Reconfigurable structures of a distributed system that are designed according to the IEEE 802.4 and IEEE 802.5 protocols and are protected against disclosing intercommunications of authentication server by a malefactor are proposed for the first time. These requirements are the principal ones in the development of virtual private networks.
