摘要
A novel, simplified reservoir simulation software tool has been developed for reservoir engineers. called SimSim. It combines the advantages of the simple material balance technique and complex numerical reservoir simulation: it keeps the simplicity and speed of the former, and has results like the latter, i.e. it can calculate pressure, saturation, fluid flux and hydrocarbons in place distributions. An example for underground gas storage modeling is presented.
