Effects of creep on modulus of elasticity determination of wood

摘要
Research demonstrates that the most important strength predictor parameter is the modulus of elasticity in bending (E). This predictor has been determined by static and dynamic methods. Because the different methods of determination give dynamic value that is about 10 percent higher than static value, the two values of E have been handled as different parameters. In this context, the difference between dynamic and static E was explained by the effect of creep.
