摘要
The influence of the compressibility of adsorbed layers on the surface dilational elasticity was discussed. The elasticities of four alcohols used in the experiment were obtained from oscillating bubble measurements as a function of the dimensionless concentration. It was shown that at high oscillation frequencies, the elasticity levels off at a plateau and at higher surfactant concentration, a limiting value of the elasticity is reached or the elasticity even passes through a maximum.
