摘要
Single-mode fiber optics have already been used to coherently recombine independent telescopes. They provide a gain of almost one order of magnitude in the precision of interferometric measurements. in the near future large interferometers currently in the design stage could combine single-mode integrated optics and adaptive optics for maximum precision and sensitivity.
