Today, the chromatographer has several hundred columns to choose from when developing a chemical separation. The challenge is to select the one that has the "sweet spot" for the task on hand. The Web site described in this article presents performance data from many of the manufacturers, permitting the chromatographer to select the most suitable column by making side-by-side comparisons.
