摘要
The article deals with environmental personality dispositions in context of environmental psychology. It is focused on Environmental Response Inventory (ERI) by McKechnie (1974). This measurement tool is composed of eight subscales (Pastoralism, Urbanism, Environmental adaptation, Stimulus seeking, Environmental Trust, Antiquarianism, Need for Privacy, Mechnical Orientaion) and describes the basic trends in person-environment interaction. The aim of the project was to prepare Slovak version of the inventory and to examine its psychometric properties (scales' internal consistency, convergent validity). ERI was administrated to 210 university students studying technical sciences and humanities as well. Collected data were also analysed in regard to particular socio-demographic differences. In the conclusion Pastoralism and Urbanism as two basic trends in environmental personality dispositions are discussed.
