摘要：

The current cadastral data recording system has some deficiencies resulting a relatively low efficiency of decision-making and a waste of human and material resources. In this context the creation of a Geographic Information System for the introduction of real estate cadastre was an essential thing that should be taken into account. In this paper will present the stages that must follow to create a GIS application using the program AutoCAD Map 3D and how this application can help to solve various problems specific to the cadastre. Also, will be presented a few thematic maps which can be achieved using this GIS application. The most important feature of a GIS consists in its capacity to make spatial analyses, which means to process the spatial data (geographical data) with the purpose to obtain information (reports) regarding the studied area [1]. For this reason, this paper is important because the achievement of this kind of GIS applications, constitutes a fundamental element in the sight of query, storage, handling and analyzing information, because the limit of data analysis depends only on the imagination of the user.
