摘要
The article addresses analysis and reflections on the education model that has been taking place in universities globally and in which, mistakenly, they prioritize technological skills to the detriment of critical thinking, considering that the use of technology determines digital education leaving aside the teaching role in the training of professionals. The traditional teaching model is distinguished from the virtual (or digital) model and the development of new pedagogies and innovative methodologies in virtual environments or spaces is proposed. The methodology used is descriptive and exploratory, based on bibliographic references from authors who have investigated and analyzed the development and evolution of critical thinking and the new learning environments. The conclusion is drawn that it is possible to rethink education from a more humanistic perspective and at the same time, more scientific and technological.
